Every October, FRC recognizes Domestic Violence Awareness month with a variety of activities. Volunteers are needed to help prepare awareness items, distribute awareness information in the community, assist staff with setting up and sitting with awareness displays, and more.

Volunteers Needed!
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we need your help!
Can you spare a few hours to help FRC spread awareness about the problem of domestic violence, the availability of local resources to help victims, and even help educate others about the warning signs of an abusive relationship?
Some ways you can volunteer:
• Help FRC make and distribute awareness ribbons and information
• Help set up/take down awareness displays
• Assist staff during awareness displays or events
• Outreach to groups and individuals in the community
• Distributing awareness posters/fliers to key locations
• Becoming a trained Awareness Ambassador for October and beyond!
Other ways to help:
• Organize an event or awareness activity in your club, organization or church
• Invite FRC to present to your group
• Share FRC’s awareness posts via social media
